
Matilda Grech, PWS, of Port Jervis, NY, had a painting accepted into the Caterine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club's 107th Annual Exhibition at the National Arts Club NY. She also had a painting accepted in the Northeast WCS 27th Annual International Exhibition in Kent, CN. She was Judge of Awards for the First Annual Art Show at the Tracy Art Center.
Janet Walsh, of Coopersburg, PA, was awarded the Trails and Streams Award and Medallion by the Adirondack League Club in the Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors.
Artist Jacqueline Mitchell Smith, of Wernersville, PA, was honored with a one woman show at the Cloud 9 Cafe in Wyomissing, PA during April 2003. Two of her paintings were selected by the Canadian Society of Miniature Painter, Sculptors, and Gravers at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Jacqueline was awarded the Suzanne Lucas "Best New Exhibitor" award in the Hilliard Society of Miniaturists Exhibition in Somerset, England.

Artist, Marianne Marino, PWS, of Allison Park, PA received an award in the Pittsburgh WCS Exhibition at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. She also won an award in the 2003 Mid-Atlantic Art Exhibit at the Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts and had a painting accepted in the Pittsburgh WCS 57th Annual International Exhibit, Aqueous 2003.
Carol Staub, of Somerset, NJ, was accepted in the Louisa Melrose Gallery 5th Annual Show and was awarded the Louisa Melrose Gallery award and a two person show in June 2004. Was juried into and awarded a 4 person show at the A.E. Bean Backus Museum for September 2003. Accepted in the NAPA (National Acrylic Painters Assn.) 7th Annual International Exhibition, the 6th Annual Postcard Show, 5th Bakers Dozen International Collage Exchange in New Zealand, and had two paintings accepted for the 12th Annual National Exhibit at the Art INstitute and Gallery Salisbury, MD (Juror's Mention). Received Award of Excellence in the New Jersey WCS Juried Exhibiton.

Susan Davitti Darling, of Maytown, PA, recently received a Rottler Award for visual excellence from the York Art Association.
Artist Beth Palser, PWS, of Oxford, PA, received the B.W.S. Memorial Award at the Baltimore WCS 2003 Mid-Atlantic Regional Exhibit and a purchase award at 41st Annual Boardwalk Art Show in Ocean City, NJ. Another painting was recognized in the August issue of Art Business News.
Joe Frassetta, PWS, of Springfield, PA, had a painting purchased by the Southwest Missouri Associates for the Springfield Museum's permanent collection. In Addition, he received the Jack Richeson Art Award in the exhibition. Joe's article appears in the March 2003 edition of "The Artist's Magazine".
Artist Paul Sullivan, of scottsdale, AZ, had a painting accepted into the Arizona WC Association's 2003 National Exhibit.

New Signature Member Arlene Ginsburg, PWS, of Emmaus, PA, was inexplicably omitted from the list. Blame the director for the goof. Our apologies Arlene.
Gloria Baker, PWS, of Evansville, IN, was accepted and won the Dr. Ph Martin's Hydrus Fine Art Watercolor Award in the Georgia WCS 24th National Exhibit. Gloria is also the featured artist in the gift shop of the Evansville Museum of Art through October.
Long time member, Dale Ziegler, PWS, of Lancaster, PA, had a showing of paintings titled "Small World" displaying watercolor studies of the Amish and the vanishing countryside.
The Chalfont Hotel is hosting the Alice Steer Wilson, PWS (Deceased long time member of PWS) "The Alice Steer Wilson Invitational Exhibit at the Chalfont Hotel in Cape May, NY Through October 19th, 2003. Alice died while her painting was hanging in the 2001 PWS Juried Show in Lingonier, PA. She has been missed.
