Mary Crutchfield, PWS, of Elizabethville, NJ has been accepted into the following exhibitions: New England WCS (Award); WCS of North Carolina (award); Marshall Gallery of Greensboro, NC (Award); San Diego WCS National Show (award); PWS Exhibition; Louisiana WCS; D'ARt Mid-Atlantic of Norfolk, VA; Icarus International Exhibition, "Celebration of Flight" of NC; and international Society of Experimental Artists, Chicago, IL (award). She also had a one woman show at the Chowan Arts Council in Edmonton NC. She was invited by the First Flight Committee to participate in the "100 paintings for 100 Years of Flight" celebrating the Wright Brothers first flight at Kitty Hawk, NC


Mary Beth Harvey,of Pottsville, PA, has been declared a semi-finalist in the Courage Card Contest. The selected entries will be included in their 2004 holiday card catalog.


Ray Hendershot, PWS-sgg, of East Greenville, PA, and his son Bradley Hendershot, will have a two person exhibition entitled "A Tradition" from April 23rd through May 9th at Chadds Ford Gallery in Chadds Ford, PA. This will mark the first time father and son have shown together in a major exhibition. The public is invited to the reception on April 23rd. Mel Stabin, PWS-sgg, of Park Ridge, NJ, received the Elizabeth Callan Medal at the 137th AWS Annual International exhibition. Mel also has a new video entitled "The Figure in Watercolor" about painting a person in a natural environment. It also includes several of Mel's watercolors. Clyde Roberts, PWS, of Hagerstown, MD has been accepted into the Mid-Atlantic Exhibition sponsored by the Baltimore WCS. The show will be on display at the Strathmore Hall Art Center in N. Bethesda, MD during April.


Peter Stimeling, PWS, of Kempton, PA is featured in "American Artist Magazine" April issue. The article is titled "The Special Qualities of Watercolor Portraits" written by Stephen Doherty, Editor-in-Chief of American Artist Magazine. It includes ten of Peter's portraits.


Toni Elkins, PWS, of Columbia, SC has been accepted into the following national juried competitions: WCS of Houston; Western Federation of WCS's; and Western Colorado WCS. Her poetry is also an award winner from The International Library of Poetry.


Kitty Waybright, PWS, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH received "Best of Show" award at the Mid-Winter 6th Annual Society of Artists show last February.


Lorraine Ptacek, PWS, of Elmhurst, IL had paintings accepted into Norris Gallery's Watercolor "04" juried art exhibition; The Exhibition of National Artists "Myth, Magic, and Metaphor" at the Union Street Gallery and Studio Complex in Chicago Heights, IL. She won an award at the Addison Art Guilds Show and Merit AWard in the Illinois WCS Exhibiton. Lorraine's paintings were accepted into North VAlley Art League's 20th Annual National Exhibition (ANE), Redding, CA; 63rd ANE WCS of Alabama; Western Federation of WCS's 29th ANE, Houston, TX; Missouri WCS National 2004 and the ARtist's WCS's 23rd Annual Exhibiton, Fort Worth, TX.


Jaqueline Mitchell Smith, of Wernersville, PA is the featured artist in a one person show entitled "Seascapes in Miniature" at the Phoebe Berks Village in Wernersville, PA


Beverly Golembeski, of Seaside Park, NJ was awarded First Place in Aqua-Media by the 2004 Associate Member Exhibition of the Audubon Artist's Association; accepted in Side by Side membership Show of the Philadelphia and National WCS's in San Pedrio, CA; and accepted in the 24th Edition of the Marquis Who's Who of American Woman.
